Make an immediate and lasting impact while helping to grow iconic brands. SUMMARY: Lead continuous sales and profit growth in a multi-state region of Retail and Wholesale grocery accounts. Provide leadership with a passionate laser-like customer focus driving company sales and profits. Success will be achieved using a combination of Customer/Consumer Insights, positive Broker Relationships, and Customer Collaboration. PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: + Motivate assigned brokers to execute company initiatives delivering annual goals. + Create annual stretch region sales objectives by teaming with brokers to develop sales plans and quotas for each broker supporting national objectives. Achieve them through dynamic customer Action Plans. + Ensure broker talent (Headquarter & Retail) and information resources are outstanding and recognized by our customers as superior to competition. + Conduct regular, consistent, poignant broker reviews identifying areas of strength and providing constructive feedback for constant growth. + Attend all Category Line Reviews driving the Welch's Fruit Snacks success story home and assuring the broker Account Executive plays and integral part in preparation and presentation. + Problem solver extraordinaire. Make each broker better. Identify trends, determine sales system improvements, and implement change for continuous improvement. + Exceed forecasting requirements and become a resident expert in forecast accuracy. Analyze variances and initiate corrective actions and improve continuously. + "Work up the funnel." Develop customer contacts beyond the Buyer and Category Manager. Conduct annual business reviews assuring attendance by VP and Director level management. Ensure meetings occur at the largest trade events. + Own the Planogram! As the #1 Brand in the category, Welch's Fruit Snacks deserve their fair share of space and a shelf position complementing our brand strength. + Implement business-building promotions delivering sales and profits. Master the AFS trade promotion management system, gaining approvals then tracking performance while evaluating trade spending. + Keep updated on industry by participating in educational opportunities, attending appropriate trade shows, staying abreast of industry news by reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks. Qualifications POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: + Bachelor's Degree in business or related field. + Five years managing food brokers. + Working knowledge of customer/consumer practices with Consumer-Packaged Goods Consumables, grocery, snacks and confectionery experience a plus. + Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. + Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects + Demonstrated initiative, and high levels of energy and motivation. + Strong written/oral communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. + A passion for customer development. + Strong emotional intelligence. + Strong project management skills. + Ability to travel up to 50% and work extended daily hours, including some weekends, to attend trade shows and industry conferences.
