RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Engineer in Wilmington, Delaware (DE).


Essential Duties:
* Certify application code releases and note any performance impacts under production like workloads.
* Verify the impact of any infrastructure changes (Maintenance Releases, H/W, OS upgrades etc.,) and under production like workloads.
* Design test approaches and manage the end-to-end quality life cycle of technology sponsored projects.
* Design and develop automated scripts using LoadRunner based on business use cases for the application.
* Design scenarios in LoadRunner to evaluate the performance of the application.
* Execute different kinds of performance tests like Load test, stress, volume, and endurance tests.
* Analyze test results using LoadRunner, and monitor application and web server metrics using Splunk, IBM Mainview, and Prognosis tools.
* Validate fail-over/recovery scenario and measure any impact to response times and interruptions during execution of these scenarios.
* Find processing ceilings, such as maximum transactions per second and concurrent users, to prepare the organization for high volume customer transaction days.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proficient in application development skills for more than one technology as well as multiple design techniques
* Working proficiency in development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common
frameworks
* Strong understanding of techniques such asContinuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test
Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security
* Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages
* Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates
understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing,
deployment, maintenance and improvement of software
