for the academic year 2020-2021
. Qualified individuals in all specialty areas of accounting will be considered; preference will be given to those with an ability to teach in multiple areas. Candidates must have or be near completion of a doctoral degree. Professional certification in accounting is required.
Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching, using technology and analytics tools in the classroom, scholarly research, and service to the department, school and university. The appointment requires flexibility in teaching day, evening and weekend courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Responsibilities:
Focus on teaching load of six courses including undergraduate and graduate-level accounting and accounting analytics courses
Academic and Career advising of accounting students
Developing and Maintaining an active research agenda
Service to the Department, College and University by serving on committees
Department representation at on-campus events
Director of Graduate Accounting Program
Requirements:
PhD or DBA in Accounting from an AACSB institution
Professional designation as a CPA
Experience working in the field of accounting
Experience developing and growing traditional and online academic programs
Background in accounting analytics including certifications
